Remal Developments Launches Flagship Project "WESTCLAY" in West Cairo with EGP 15 Billion Investment


Remal Developments has announced the launch of its premier real estate project, "WESTCLAY," a mixed-use development set to transform 6th of October City in West Cairo. With a total investment of EGP 15 billion, the project combines residential, commercial, administrative, and hotel spaces, underscoring Remal’s commitment to premium locations and exceptional project standards


During a press conference attended by media representatives, Remal revealed details of WESTCLAY, showcasing its focus on international standards and innovative urban planning. Abdel Wahab Khalil, Chairman of Remal Developments, highlighted the company’s unique vision to deliver distinctive real estate products that adhere to global standards. Khalil noted that Egypt's extensive urban development initiatives have created valuable opportunities for investors, especially those with experience, solid planning, and financial strength


The WESTCLAY project will be financed internally, reflecting Remal's strong financial position and expertise across various sectors, including construction and materials transportation. Khalil shared that construction will begin in the first quarter of 2025, with an initial EGP 2 billion investment scheduled for the coming year. This substantial financial backing aligns with Remal's strategy to establish itself swiftly as a leading real estate developer


Remal has partnered with a number of prominent collaborators to bring WESTCLAY to fruition, including Mohamed Talaat Architects (MTA) as the project’s engineering consultant. MTA’s established reputation aligns with Remal’s goals for quality and precision in execution


Chief Commercial Officer Mohamed Khattab emphasized WESTCLAY’s strategic location in 6th of October City’s fourth tourist district. With proximity to key transportation routes such as the Dashur Link and the 26th of July Axis, as well as landmarks like Mall of Egypt, Juhayna Square, and Cairo University’s October branch, the project offers unparalleled convenience for residents. Spanning 25 acres, WESTCLAY includes a range of internal amenities, from a social club and padel tennis courts to walking paths, lakes, and an outdoor cinema


Housing options in WESTCLAY will range from one- to three-bedroom units, with building heights restricted to ground level plus four floors. The company plans to start delivering units within three years of the project launch, aiming to meet high standards while adhering to a precise construction timeline
