Cairo, Egypt — Galaxy Developments has officially announced the launch of its latest project, Mars Mall, located in the heart of October Gardens, with total investments amounting to EGP 1.4 billion. The project marks a significant milestone in the company’s expansion strategy within Egypt’s retail and mixed-use real estate market
Eng. Saad Abdel Baqi, Chairman of Galaxy Developments, revealed that the company has already completed 35% of the project’s construction prior to its official launch — a move that reinforces the company’s credibility and commitment to timely delivery
He emphasized that the company’s board brings together over 20 years of experience across real estate development, construction, trade, and contracting. “We focus on every detail that ensures the strength and sustainability of our projects,” Abdel Baqi said, adding that Galaxy carefully selects its partners for each development. The company has contracted Healthy Care Medical Group to manage the medical clinics and appointed Deals as the project’s exclusive marketing agent
Eng. Wael Taha, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Galaxy Developments, highlighted Mars Mall’s strategic location on the Italian District Road, directly opposite the Italian District Compound and the Tourist Promenade. The site is one minute from Fayoum Road, three minutes from Al Wahat Road, and close to Mall of Egypt, Zewail City, the Global Village, Al Nawadi Street, and Sun Capital Compound
Taha explained that the company continuously studies market dynamics and customer preferences to design tailored sales and marketing strategies. He confirmed that Galaxy offers flexible payment plans extending up to 10 years, with project delivery scheduled within three years
Mr. Sameh El-Sharkawy, General Manager of Deals Marketing and Real Estate Consulting, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, noting that Deals’ role goes beyond sales to include comprehensive consulting services, recommending brands, management, and operations partners. El-Sharkawy added that Mars Mall features a cutting-edge design, smart facilities, and a multi-use layout spread across 5,910 square meters. The mall sits on two corner plots with dual entrances and includes two basement levels, a lower and upper ground floor, and two upper floors — one for commercial units and the other for medical spaces
Mr. Walid Soliman, Head of Sales at Deals, emphasized that “a strong project naturally establishes itself in the market,” adding that Mars Mall is set to compete with major retail developments thanks to its comprehensive offering and smart positioning
He further revealed that a well-known hypermarket chain is in the final stages of signing to occupy 2,000 square meters on the upper ground floor, alongside plans for a gym and a professional commercial management company.
The project offers commercial units starting from 30 square meters, priced from EGP 100,000 per square meter, and medical units starting from 36 square meters, priced from EGP 58,000 per square meter. Commercial spaces will be delivered core and shell, while medical units will be fully finished and air-conditioned
