Housing: Developing the sewage system in New Cairo and moving it to the Yellow Mountain

Housing Ministry officials made an inspection tour to follow up the
implementation of the development of axes, roads and utilities in New Cairo.
The tour included Eng. Abdel Muttalib Mamdouh, Vice President of the Urban
Communities Authority, and Eng. Gamal Talaat, Assistant Vice President of the
Authority.
Engineer Amin Ghoneim, head of the New Cairo City Development
Authority, explained during the tour that the regression lines are being
implemented inside the city to solve and develop the drainage system in New
Cairo, where the sewage will be transferred in a regression way to the Yellow
Mountain through the proposed main regression lines.
The tour included a follow-up to the development and expansion of
the Sadat axis in the first district, to become a main entrance to the first
assembly, as well as the development work of the Youssef Sibai axis, Mustafa
Kamel, Taha Hussein axis and Naguib Mahfouz axis.
During the tour, Eng. Amin Ghoneim explained that the regression
lines are being implemented inside the city to solve and develop the drainage
system in New Cairo, where the sewage will be transported by the regression
method to the Yellow Mountain through the proposed main regression lines.
