CEO of “ES” Company for Green and Sustainable Buildings, said that a contract
has been made with “AHI International” company, which is specialized in the
industrial sector, to supervise the implementation of its factory specialized
in the paper industry in accordance with the standards of sustainability and
green building in the 6th of October City, Industrial Zone
The project is located on an area of 20
thousand square meters, and the construction area of the project is 15
thousand square meters, with investments worth 150 million pounds, and the
implementation of the works is scheduled to be completed by the end of this
year according to the project’s schedule, and the ECG will undertake the task
of the project’s general consultant
Khattab clarified that the project comes
within many of the contracts that the company has made recently, bringing the
total volume of its contracts in the industrial sector and industrial
facilities to 2 billion pounds by the end of 2021, in addition to the company's
plan, "ES" for expansionary green buildings, to increase the volume
of workers in the coming period in foreign markets with the dissemination and
promotion of awareness. The importance of the compatibility of industrial and
construction projects in green building and sustainability standards Where the
company seeks to acquire new types of green and sustainable building
certificates (such as the EDGE certificate provided by the World Bank, and the
WELL certificate, which is concerned with providing standards of physical and
moral comfort for residents and pioneers of buildings)
Noting that the company's portfolio of
projects in the Egyptian market is divided by 40% industrial projects, and 60%
administrative, commercial and hotel real estate projects.
